Description
Housing Plus Group is a Charitable Community Benefit Society providing homes and a range of care services across Shropshire and Staffordshire. As one of the largest housing providers in the area, we manage 18,000 homes, have an annual turnover of almost £100m and employ more than 800 people. Following our merger with Stafford and Rural Homes last year it’s an exciting and very positive time for us as we have created a new housing, care and property group which has considerable influence and potential.
Investing in our communities and our people remains a key priority and by 2023 we will have started work on 2,000 new homes, increased our apprentices to 100 and grown our care business by one third, whilst ensuring that we achieve the highest standards of property compliance and service delivery. Our new Corporate plan is focussed on ‘Making a Positive Difference to Homes, Lives and Communities’; ensuring that these objectives are supported by a strong and resilient Group of companies.
We are now looking for an exceptional Housing Director who will bring a blend of professional and strategic skills to lead our customer facing services and ensure that we achieve our many ambitions. These are exceptional times and we want to continue to meet the changing demands on our services, place the customer at the heart of what we do and maximise the opportunities which lie ahead using data, technology and the fantastic skills and expertise of our people. This is a big and challenging role but one that will be so rewarding both professionally and personally.
